Peachy Keen Stamps: Face Day

Hi, today I'm sharing a Peachy Keen Stamps: Face Day project. I know Christmas has just passed but I wanted to share this nativity scene I created using Kathy's fabulous face assortments. They really helped bring these paper pieces to life!

I found this little nativity barn last year on clearance after Christmas. I couldn't wait to finally use it for this year!

For my scene I used cut files from Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons called Nativity 1 and Nativity 2

For the baby Jesus, I used PKS-Just Baby Faces Assortment. I colored his eye lids in with a Copic marker and drew his little strand of hair on with a Micron Pen.

For the angel, I used the cute PKS-Cherub Face Assortment. I also colored her eyelids in with a Copic marker and then added Stickles on top. I accented her eyes with a white gel pen. Her halo was cut out using gold foil paper but just doesn't show in the picture unfortunately. I also used Stickles on her wings to make them shine.

For the banner I used My Creative Time's Vintage Stitched Label Die to cut out the sentiment.

For the cool camel, I used PKS-Here Kitty Kitty Face Assortment. I accented his eyes with a white gel pen and colored in his nose with a Copic marker. I extended the mouth using a Micron pen.

For Wiseman #1 (grey beard), I used PKS-Wide Eyed Kids Face Assortment. For Wiseman #2 (brown beard), I used PKS-Retro Face Assortment. For Wiseman #3 (brown beard), I used PKS-Winter Wonderland Face Assortment. I colored each one of their eyes in with different Copic markers. It was so nice to use these assortment again since I had the chance to use them in awhile.

For Joseph's face, I used PKS- Laughy Taffy Face Assortment. For Mary's face, I used PKS-Princess Face Assortment. I colored in Joseph's mouth and eyes in with Copic markers. I use a white gel pen to fill in Mary's eyes and colored her lips in with a Copic marker.

For the Shepard, I stamped on his face using PKS-Sweet and Innocent Face Assortment. I colored his eyes in with a Copic marker.

For the adorable little sheep, I used PKS-Teddy Bear Face Assortment. I colored in his eye lids and mouth with Copic markers. I accented his eyes with a white gel pen. I just love how I could use a bear face on my sheep. Love how these faces are so versatile!

For the cute little donkey, I stamped on his face using PKS-Medium Critter Faces. I accented his eyes with a white gel pen. These animals are just too cute and really bring a great element to the scene.

This project was so much fun to create and I don't have the fear of little ones breaking it. Always nice to use these fabulous assortments in a fun new way!

Thank you so much for stopping by!! Please be sure to check out the fabulous sale going on and the December Specials! Fabulous deals on amazing Peachy Keen Stamps!

My Creative Time: Tag It Tuesday

Hi, today is Tag It Tuesday over on the My Creative Time Blog.

I have a cute little tag to share with you all that goes along with a yummy Frozen "Olaf" treat. Every time I see this sentiment from the Snow Buddies Stamp Set I can't help but think of Olaf!

For the tag, I used MCT: Stitched Round Tab, Arrow, and Tag Dies. I cut two layers of tags out in the sparkly white Colorbok paper. I cut the second tag layer down using MCT: Fun Stitched Edges. I then traced the tag die onto the aqua card stock to create a mat for the tag and cut it out.

The adorable now man was stamped and cut out using MCT: Winter Snowman dies. I also cut out his scarf and hat using the same dies. I colored the nose, arms, and scarf bottom in with Copic markers. I made his cheeks a bit rosy with Inkadinkado: Chalk Ink.

I created a label that would fit the sentiment using MCT: Stitched Rectangular Frames dies. I then stamped on it the sentiment also from MCT: Snow Buddies Stamp Set. I love all the adorable sentiments in this set that match perfectly with the super adorable snowmen. On the back of the tag I stamped the "To" and "From" MCT: Just Tags stamp and die set. I then adhered it to the top of the treat! Now it is ready to brighten someone's day!!

Thank you so much for stopping by!! I hope you have a wonderful day!!

Peachy Keen Stamps: Trendsetting

Happy Wednesday!! Today I am sharing a trendspotting project with you all today.

I've notice that neon colors are a big trend for the Christmas season this year. I can not say I would personally decorate with these bright colors but I thought they would look great on a cute Peachy snowman.

I stamped and paper pieced the adorable PK-1413 Smile Snowman using Recollection's neon card stock. I used a Copic marker to color in the arms and outline the snowman. I chalked his cheeks with Inkadinkado chalk ink.

For the buttons, I stamped and paper pieced them from PKSC-23 November 2013. The Smile Snowman set does come with two pom-pom stamps you could use but I wanted to change things up a bit by using the buttons.

I used Versamark ink and Recollection's snow embossing powder to stamp on one of my favorite Peachy backgrounds, PK-1349 Woodland Birch, onto the neon blue card stock. I then cut it out with a My Creative Time: Stitched Rectangular Frame Die.

The sentiment was stamped on the speech bubble from PKSC-24 December 2013.  I then added the little stars using Hero Arts: neon yellow ink. They are also from the December 2013 set.

I cut the Colorbok: white glitter paper with a Lawn Fawn: Hillside Border die to create the snowy hills.

I then added a fun neon snowflake embellishment. The snowflakes are die cuts from My Creative Time. I added a larger button also from the November 2013 stamp set to the center to match the snowman.

Well I hope I have given you some inspiration on using these non-traditional colors in your holiday projects using Peachy Keen Stamps.

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by!! Have a wonderful crafty day!!

MCT: Day 1 of 5 days of Christmas

Good morning!! I'm so excited for day 1 of My Creative Time: 5 days of Christmas!! We are sharing some fun Christmas projects created with MCT products and Miss Emma is giving away some amazing prizes!!

I have a simple holiday greeting card to share today.

For the base of the card, I used MCT: Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies.

For the ornament base I used MCT: Bunch of Fun Circles. After cutting out the gold circle I embossed it was a Darice embossing folder. I love how it turned out!

For the bow I used MCT: Fun Size Scallop Stitched Bow. I layered it with some red twine I had in my stash to make it look like it was hanging.

I wrapped a strip of Paper Studio: Vellum around the base of the card.

I used Versamark ink and Recollection's Gold Glitter Embossing powder to stamp on the sentiment from MCT: Winter Cheer Stamp set.

I finished by adding a couple of Recollection's gold enamel dots to the Vellum.

A super simple card that would be very easy to recreate for the holiday season!

PKS and MKC Co-Hop Day 2

Welcome to the Miss Kate Cuttables
and
Holiday Co-Hop!

We have had a week filled with wonderful Holiday projects created by the talented and amazing designers from both teams! Today is our last day of sharing how well Peachy Keen Stamps go with cutting files from Miss Kate Cuttables!!

Today I have a fun little card to share inspired by one of the songs from Disney's "Frozen". When I saw the MKC: Build a Snowman-Girl,automatically thought of that song! So I just knew I had to create a project combing both of them.

The little girl's face was stamped using PKS: The Moodies Face Assortment. This is one of my favorite face assortments in the whole wide world!! They have the cutest faces for your cutting files!!

For the snowman face, I used PKS: Winter Wonderland Face Assortment. They are currently on sale just one more day as a November special. This is a wonderful assortment since there are great faces for snowmen, penguins, and gingerbread people. His little buttons were stamped on using PKSC-23 November 2013.

I chalked both of their cheeks, added white gel accents, and colored their eyes/mouths with Copic markers.

I printed the sentiment out onto white card stock and cut it out with a stitched speech bubble from My Creative Time.

For my card base, I used My Creative Time: Stitched Rectangular Dies.

For the snow hills I used Lawn Fawn: Hill Side Borders.

The snowflakes are also from My Creative Time.

The sequins are from my stash and the twine is from American Crafts.

Happy Thanksgiving!! PKS and MKC Co-Hop

Welcome to the Miss Kate Cuttables
and
Holiday Co-Hop!

We have a week filled with wonderful
Holiday projects created by the talented and amazing designers from both teams!

First I would like to say Happy Thanksgiving!! In honor of today, I have created a cute Thanksgiving wreath!!

I found the wreath in the clearance section of Target and knew I needed to up cycle it with some die cuts and cute Peachy faces! Miss Kate's Cuttables had just the right ones I was looking for!! There are so many wonderful cutting files to choose from!! Plus, I love that my Peachy Keen Stamps match perfectly with them!!

I cut out the MKC: Thanksgiving Title out of scraps I had and added the super cute PKS: 3/4" Piles of Smiles face to the pumpkin. I chalked his cheeks and added white gel pen accents to him as well as the title.

I cut out the MKC: Thanksgiving Boy/Girl and stamped on their faces using PKS: Christmas in July Face Assortment. These fabulous faces are a November special and on sale till November 30th. I colored her eyes in with Copic markers. I chalked their cheeks and added white gel pen accents to each one. I added faces to the little gourd and pumpkin they are holding using PKS: Sweet and Silly Face Assortment.

I cut the MKC: Turkey in a Pumpkin and added a face from PKS: Variety Face Assortment. They are also a November special! The eagle face was perfect to create a turkey face! I colored the eyes and beak in with Copic markers. I chalked the turkey's cheeks and added white gel pen accents. I also inked the edges of the feather in various color coordinating Memento inks.

I added the sentiment from PKSC-10 October 2012 to a banner die cut from My Creative Time.

I found this cute little svg over at Little Scraps of Heaven and just new it would be a perfect fit for the new faces. I mean how cute is a bear with a penguin hat anyways and then with Kathy's amazing faces it became even cuter!!

I cut the bear out of Recollection's white card stock and inked the edges with Memento's Summer Sky ink. I used the new Happy Snow Couples 1 1/8" assortment for the bear's face. I just masked the carrot nose and mouth. For his hat, I used the new Happy Penguin Couples assortment. Both sets are so darn adorable!! Love them!!! I colored their eyes in with Copic markers and chalked their cheeks.

I added the fun sentiment from the new Holiday Stamp set onto a stitched oval die from My Creative Time. Their are so many wonderful sentiments that go perfectly with these amazing new stamps.

The card base is a svg from Pretty Papers, Pretty Ribbons.

The twine is from American Crafts.

The snowflake is from My Creative Time.

Day 2 of PKS: November Sneak Peeks

If you are looking for the My Creative Time: Sneak Peek Day #4  please click here.

Hi, Peachy Friends!! It's day 2 of sneak peeks for the fabulous new November Peachy Keen Stamps Release!! Weren't those sneaks yesterday just adorable? Well get ready for some more cuteness overload in today's sneaks.

When I first saw this sentiment I just knew I had to create a snow day scene!

These are the cutest penguins ever!! I colored them with Copic markers and then cut them out. It doesn't show real well but I added Stickles to their hats to give them a bit of sparkle. I also added white gel pen accents and chalked their cheeks.

The adorable little trees are part of a new faceless stamp set so you can leave them as they are or add a cutie patootie PKS face to them. I colored the edges of the trees, the trunks, and the stars with Copic markers. I then added some Stickles to the stars.

To create the snowy hills I used Lawn Fawn's Hillside Borders die. I then inked the edges with Memento's Summer Sky Blue.

The little sled was cut from the Joys of the Season Cricut cartridge. I cut the bottom out of shiny silver foil paper and the top out of wood grain paper. I was so glad to finally use one of my cartridges for once. I must say they have been laying dormant. Always nice to have them to fall back on for a certain image.

I added the sentiment to a stitched square cut out from MCT: Stitched Goodies die. I inked the edges with Summer Sky as well.

I embellished the top of the card with American Craft's Twine, My Creative Time: Snowflake, and a sequin.

MCT: Sneak Peek Day #4

Hello everyone!! Today is the final day of sneak peeks for the My Creative Time's 38th Edition Release!!! Today we are showcasing the new "Hello You ". This is going to be a fabulous freebie stamp for the first 150 shoppers!! What great gift!!

What a beautiful stamp set this is!! I love it!! So glad Emma created it!!

I stamped the plant and flowers using Versamark ink and then added Recollection's Gold embossing powder on top. Love how it turned out!! It really pops right off the card!

I cut the fall colored pattern paper with MCT: Stitched Rectangular Frame dies.

I used the new MCT: Stitched Oval dies to create the frame around the flowers.

I didn't have any glitter paper on hand so I just made some. I wanted my sentiment and the butterfly to match the "Hello You" stamp. So I stamped my Versamark ink pad on some white card stock, added the embossing powder, and then heated it with my heat gun. Once I had my glitter paper created,  I cut out the little butterfly from MCT: Pretty Butterflies and the "grateful" from MCT: A Thankful Heart Stamp set.

I added a strip of Vellum to the card as well as the "grateful" die cut. I finished the card by added the "for you' sentiment also from the MCT: A Thankful Heart Stamp set.
